The Jordan Melo M7 Advance hasn’t had a long lifespan and despite that it seeks to go out on a high note with the release of M7 Advance in the New York Knicks colors. Carmelo Anthony debuted the Melo M7 Advance during the first round playoff series versus the Boston Celtics and unfortunately we only got a short glimpse of them as the Knicks were eventually swept. Both the ‘Home’ and ‘Away’ pairs of the Jordan Melo M7 Advance will drop at exclusively at House of Hoops locations in New York City and are sure to be limited. Carmelo Anthony finished the season rocking an updated version of his seventh signature shoe, the Jordan Melo M7. The Jordan Melo M7 Advance brought these kicks to another level with a lightweight Flywire construction throughout the upper. The home and away colorways that he wore during the 2011 Playoffs against the Boston Celtics will now be released in limited quantities in New York City at House of Hoops and Niketown NYC on August 24. Despite the shortcomings of Jordan Brand’s signature athletes Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade during the 2011 NBA Playoffs, Jordan Brand is pushing their brand beyond our borders specifically China. The trio is involved in Jordan Brand’s Flight Tour and a pack has been designed around the event which include the Jordan CP3.IV, Jordan Melo M7 Advance and the Jordan Fly Wade. The pack featuring the brand’s poster athletes also features a shirt to go with each sneaker and is inspired by China’s opera masks seen by the masks worn by Wade, Paul and Anthony. Each shoe is unique in nature with the Jordan Melo M7 Advance sharing similarities with the Jordan Melo M7 ‘Jade’ that released in November 2010. There’s no word on a release but if there is, we’ll be the first to have it. The Jordan Melo M7 Advance was originally slated to release June 1st but after being delayed, they will finally release this Saturday, June 11th. The Melo M7 Advance first made their short lived debut during the New York Knicks series versus the Boston Celtics. The Black/Metallic Silver-White colorway of the Melo M7 Advance is the first of three colorways of the M7 advance limited to NYC retailers. House of Hoops and Niketown locations in the city will have the Space Jam-like colorway June 11th. During the NBA Playoffs, New York Knicks small forward, Carmelo debuted the Jordan Melo M7 Advance which is a slimmer and lighter version of the Jordan Melo M7.  Flywire is used in the M7 Advance for lightweight performance and faux carbon fiber is located on the flywire for stability in addition to the visible Max Air unit for comfort. This colorway of the Jordan Melo M7 Advance is similar to the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ with its black upper, white midsole and translucent outsole. The Melo M7 Advance will be released at House of Hoops locations and Nike retailers in New York City on June 1st at the suggested retail price of $130.
