The Jordan Flight-The-Power draws parallels to Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing because of how similar the name is to Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power” which is featured prominently in the film. However, these don’t have relation to Spike as they are their own basketball shoe that features brand new technology as opposed to the Jordan Spiz’ike and Son of Mars. February will see five Flight-The-Power’s hit retailers and among them are the White/Black and Black/Varsity Red editions. These are currently available at the Philippines’ Sole Movement, but should be making their way to US retailers shortly. It was a great Christmas for sports fans, especially basketball fans, as the NBA tipped off yesterday. There were five games played throughout the day with there being some good ones and not so good ones. While most were paying attention to what was taking place on court, some were looking at what was worn on court.
