Remember those two other versions of the Jordan Flight 45 High Max that sported cartoon graphics on the tongue of some of Jordan Brand’s biggest athletes? Going in-line with that theme you’d have to expect this to be the Dwyane Wade pair of the group, its yellow and red pairing being an obvious ‘Heat’ look. But then again Dwyane Wade’s Jordan Brand relationship is apparently on the rocks, so the pair instead registers as just another September release. This time around the sneakers get the Chris Paul treatment, with his grinning mug stamped on the tongue and the sneakers sporting a definite Clippers palette. When this Jordan Flight 45 High Max first showed its face there was pretty much no doubt that there was a Knicks theme going on. Now that the pair is starting to pop up at retail and a bit more detailed shots are available we’re learning that the inspiration is actually concreted on the inside of the sneaker, with the same Melo graphic hitting on the inside of the tongue as the one featured on this tee.
