2015 Jordan Brand Classic Sneaker Heat Check

Ahead of the 14th annual Jordan Brand Classic in Brooklyn this week, Jordan Brand teased fans on Instagram with a duffel bag full of Melo M11s and XX9s – a somewhat subtle reminder of the flagship sneakers that will be on the feet of the nation’s top mens high school ballers. And on the feet of the ladies, too. For the first time in Jordan Brand Classic history, a girls All-American game will be played with the top lady ballers lacing up their Jordans to show up and show out. We’re speaking of the “Jordan Brand Classic” Jordan Future of course – a rare exclusive doled out to the top High School prospects in the country who were invited to Brooklyn to take part in the All-Star Game before heading off to college. Featuring alternating black and anthracite woven strips, the shoes ditch a reflective 3M pattern in lieu of premium gold speckles to match the icy outsole. 2014 Jordan Brand Classic Recap

This weekend, the top recruits in the nation flocked to Barclays Center in Brooklyn to partake in the annual Jordan Brand Classic. The East would go on to grab the win 158-147 behind the elite play of Jahil Okafor – a Center out of Chicago who scouts believe to have an offensive skill set for a Center not seen in the past decade. He would go on to win co-MVP honors with the West Team’s Cliff Alexander who poured in 23 points. Jordan Future: “Jordan Brand Classic” PE

The Jordan Brand Classic will hit the Barclay’s Center today. You couldn’t have thought that the Jordan Melo M10 exclusive was the only thing that the Jumpman had up its sleeve either, as today we get a preview of a mouthwatering take on the new woven styling of the Jordan Future for the event. Featuring a black and anthracite upper, the sneaker gets a premium gold twist to things on the icy outsole and 3M stitching. Jordan Melo M10: “Jordan Brand Classic” – Release Reminder

The Jordan Melo M10 “Jordan Brand Classic” will arrive at select retailers tomorrow, April 17th, 2014. This Saturday the Jordan Brand Classic returns to Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center to showcase the most talented High School hoopers in the nation. To honor the event, Jordan Brand will lace up each player with a brand new pair of the Jordan Melo M10 in two PE like colorways featuring a white and black base. The sneakers even get the JBC crest on the tongue while an icy outsole contrasts the matte Melo heel plate. Do you plan on picking up the latest Jordan Melo M10? 2014 Jordan Brand Classic Collection

Every year, the most highly recruited High School seniors in the nation flock to a number of All-Star games to show off their skills before they suit up the following Fall at their selected university of choice. And while a few of the athletes remain undecided, for the most part the All-Star games serve as a way to get a bunch of free gear before the NCAA can crack down on players receiving gifts. The annual Jordan Brand Classic will be held at Brooklyn’s own Barclay’s Center and today we get a look at what the players will be wearing as Nike has released official images of the uniforms and two iterations of the Jordan Melo M10. Featuring a city motif, the jerseys get a graphic print of the city from a bird’s eye view while gold accents hit the East and West team names and numbers. Meanwhile, the Jordan Melo M10 gets the Jordan Brand Classic logo ont he tongue while each shoe features a simple white and black scheme while an icy blue outsole finishes it off. Jordan Brand Classic 2014 – Rosters Announced

The Jordan Brand classic arrives in Brooklyn on April 18th to showcase the best High School hoops players across the nation. And while most players have already committed to their schools of choice at this point in time, the game will serve as a preview of what’s to come in the future next season for college basketball as a number of Duke, UNC, and Kentucky recruits will be lacing up and competing on the Nets’ home court. Every year, the best High School basketball players in the nation gather to compete in a number of All-Star competitions like the McDonald’s All-American Game, but ever since 2002, the Golden Arches have had some competition in the Jordan Brand Classic. The game serves as a chance for High School seniors to display their talents to scouts across the country, just incase the players remain undecided about which school to commit to, and this year the game will be held at none other than Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Air Jordan XX8: 2013 Jordan Brand “East” PE

Fractal elephant print has become a staple of the Jordan arsenal for the new decade, featuring on a plethora of Air Jordan XX8 releases, Blake Griffin’s Jordan Super.Fly 2, and the upcoming Jordan Prime.Fly. The first glimpse given to us of the geometric pattern was during the 2013 Jordan Brand Classic when each squad laced up, or zipped up rather, either a pair of black or red Air Jordan XX8s (which would go on to later inspire Ray Allen’s NBA Finals PEs). Today we get an even better look at the black, gold and silver model given to the best High School hoopers on the Eastern seaboard. Jordan Aero Mania: “Jordan Brand Classic” PE – Available on eBay

During this year’s Jordan Brand Classic game in which the finest High School players linked up to showcase their skills, most athletes opted to wear the Air Jordan XX8 in the new fractal elephant print, but apparently there was another option: the Jordan Aero Mania in red/gold and silver/gold schemes. Why the shoe escaped any earlier photographs and wasn’t featured on any player’s feet remains a mystery, but hit the jump for a better look and pick them up today from supremexheat on eBay.
