You already know how rare it is for Jordan Brand to get together with outside entities, only branching out every once in a while to let others work with their silhouettes. Sort of in the same vein as Dave White’s Air Jordan 1 creations (albeit much more limited) comes a couple pairs from artist Tom Sachs, who recently created the wide-ranging NIKECraft collection, certain pieces of which were made available to the public. What wasn’t made available to the public, much less really even showed off, were the Air Jordan models he worked with:the Air Jordan Alpha 1 and the Jordan BCT Low. Both sneakers get the spacey treatment characteristic of the pack, with NASA branding on back and a pearly white astronautical finish. With the way the weather has been of late, you would think that it is March and because of that this Jordan Brand footwear update is right on time. March 2012 will see releases from both the signature line as well as lifestyle and other basketball models. Among the releases scheduled for March are ‘Stealth’ themed Jordan X Auto Clave as well as the Jordan CMFT Air Max 10. Additionally, we will see drops from the signature lines of Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. February 2012 is poised to be one of the biggest months for sneakers in recent memory with Air Jordan retros such as the Air Jordan IV ‘White Cement’ and Air Jordan X ‘Old Royal’ coming out in addition to other Nike releases. Aside from its retros, Jordan Brand has a great amount of basketball and lifestyle sneakers releasing during the shortest month of the year. We will see old models such as the Air Jordan 1 Phat return as well as newer models such as the Jordan BCT Low, Jordan After Game II and Jordan Jumpman H Series II.
