The 2012 NBA Playoffs have arrived, and we’re getting a look a the Jordan Brand action out there as promised. As to to be expected the Big Three each laced up their signature sneakers, leaving the rest of the league to get a bit more creative with their selection. Jared Jeffries certainly did that, adapting with the Air Jordan IV ‘Cavs’ as a close match to his Knicks uni. Getting fresh for Easter is a time honored tradition, one that’s certainly well respected by these NBA stars given the kicks on court over the holiday weekend. All eyes are on the New York Knicks right now, With Melo back in the rotation and Jeremy Lin out to prove that he isn’t a flash in the pan success. Here at Jordans Daily we’ve got our eyes on another player though, Jared Jeffries-who showed up on court in last night’s showdown against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Air Jordan VIII ‘Orange Blaze’. If you’ve been paying attention then you already know he’s got some sick PE’s laying around, but last night he went with a retail release that lines up with the Knicks unis pretty well thanks to the orange treatment running along the midsole, lining, and various accents on the sneaker. Since being drafted 11th overall in the 2002 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards, its safe to say that Jared Jeffries hasn’t lived up to his potential. He’s averaged 5.1 points per game throughout his career with his career high coming during the 2004-05 season in which he averaged 6.8 for the year. One thing we can take away from his career is that he is a Jordna Brand athlete and in being one he’s received a number of player exclusives. One of the PEs he was given to wear in game was this Air Jordan VIII Low in the New York Knicks’ home colors. The color combination is similar to the Quentin Richardson PE, but features Jeffries’ number 20 on the heel. Yesterday, we showed you the Air Jordan VIII Low Jared Jeffries PE and today we have his Air Jordan II Low player exclusive. It is unknown what year Jeffries was given this PE by Jordan Brand but it is clear that it was made to go with the Knicks’ home uniforms as seen with the shoe’s majority white upper. Alternating hits of Varsity Royal and Orange complete the sneaker in addition to Jeffries’ #20 being embroidered on lateral side of each shoe.
