The biggest Knicks fan around was repping extra hard last night, Spike Lee showing up to the game at Madison Square Garden with a fresh pair of the Air Jordan XX8 on feet. That’s right, the sneaker that doesn’t even release till February. Of course the pair was made to match with the orange and blue, with two separate colored sneaks seen on Spike’s feet. After the surprise courtside debut last night, Jordan Brand has dropped off some official images of the Air Jordan XX8 ‘New York’ that Spike Lee busted out. This new set shows off the icy soles on bottom along with the little Jumpman icon hitting on the carbon fiber heel clip. At this point these have been labeled as a custom creation just for Spike, so there’s no word on whether or not a crazy mis-match like this could be coming to retail. Seems like Spike Lee was next in line behind Michael Jordan to get his Air Jordan XX8 exclusives. Spotted here just before tonights Knicks/Lakers matchup at Madison Square garden is the man also known as Mars Blackmon rocking one orange pair and one blue pair, the combo together making up the entirety of the Knickerbocker look.
