More from the retro that never was-the . This time around the pair to pop up is of the low persuasion and sports a rather simple bulls combination of varsity red and white. As you can see on the inside tag, the sneaker was marked as a Fall 2012 release, a season that would have been jam packed with this late era MJ shoe had all gone according the plan. The that never happened continues to be teased out via the various samples floating around on the internet. Shown here is the Low once again, featuring a stealthy sort of colorway that almost looks to be borrowed from the Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’ thanks to that crinkled nubuck panel. Samples of the scrapped re issue continue to haunt the eBay listings, reminding us all of what could have been in terms for what would have been the most recent retro to date. This pair is one of the low variety and grabs a grey look that is somewhat reminiscent of the Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’ thanks to the crinkled nubuck pieces on the upper. You can blame Ray Allen for the latest round of speculation regarding the return of the in retro form. When he broke out a PE pair for his first ever game with the Miami Heat folks were quick to wonder whether or not that appearance would signify future retail availaibility. That hasn’t panned out so far, but it looks like it might have been in the works. Shown here is an Air Jordan XVI Low created for the Fall of 2012 that never made it to retail.
