Air Jordan 4: “White/Cement” Original 1989 Pair – Available on eBay

May 7th, 2014 By

So these aren’t the exact colorway that Mike sunk the game winner against Cleveland in, but with the 25th anniversary of that legendary shot, we thought it appropriate to find some form of the Air Jordan 4 in its truest iteration (Nike Air logo branding and all) in an homage to Mike’s 1989 season. Today we get a look at the Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” from the original run in 1989 in near perfect condition that features only a little yellowing of the outsole and Air Max unit. Air Jordan IV: “White/Cement” + “Bred” – 1999 Retros on eBay

July 1st, 2013 By

Much has been said about Jordan Brand’s decision to take off all Nike branding on retro releases, and while later models release unaffected it does leave room for some complaints in earlier models, especially in regards to the Air Jordan III and Air Jordan IV. Early in 2013 saw JB drop the coveted Air Jordan III Retro 88 with original Nike Air branding to much success and now we’re transported back in time with a pair of Air Jordan IV samples from 1999 in the “Bred” and “White/Cement” colorways. Hit the jump for more images and, if the Swoosh is your preference, bid on them today courtesy of lilshk54321 on eBay.

Air Jordan IV: “White/Cement” Grey Speckle Sample

June 18th, 2013 By

The Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ last hit shelves back in February 2012, and was under some heavy criticism early on, mainly due to the tinkering (no pun intended) with the patented cement speckle that made the original colorway of the Air Jordan IV so unique. The eventual release of the shoe came a darker ‘Tech Grey’ and while people were initially up in arms, it didn’t stop the sneaker from disappearing off shelves. Today, we see an unreleased sample of the Air Jordan IV dubbed the ‘Grey Speckle’, which shows Jordan Brand had a couple other ideas in mind while working with the midsole. Hit the jump for more photos and pick up this unreleased sample from oregonsole on eBay.

The wait between the most recent Air Jordan IV ‘White/Cement’ and the pair prior was quite a long one, some twelve and a half years passing in between the two releases. Air Jordan IV “Rorschach” Customs By Sekure D

July 20th, 2012 By

The man Sekure D is back on the comic book inspiration, following up his first ever Air Jordan custom in the form of the ‘Dr. Manhattan’ styled Air Jordan IV with another Air Jordan IV paying tribute to a separate Watchmen character. This time around anti-hero Rorschach is portrayed, with a portion of the upper taking on the ink blot look, the rest cleverly pointing to some of his scenes in that legendary graphic novel.
