Did you expect Air Jordan 3 “True Blue” to be an instant sellout last Saturday? The remastered and OG-styled retro finally dropped in its true 1988 form, satisfying another grail pickup for many fans, but it didn’t disappear as you may have expected. Plenty of factors to that but two that stick out. The $220 sticker price plus tax and shipping is tough, especially during the start of the shopping season, and there are at least two more huge retro releases coming up quickly in the Air Jordan 9 “Space Jam” (December 3rd, $190) and Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” (December 10th, $220).

It can be a bit much to budget for, but that’s the beauty of Jordan Brand’s sneaker availability and scheduling of late. You usually have a great opportunity to pick up great releases for retail that you might’ve missed the first time around.

You can find great family sizes of the True Blue 3 still at Nike.com, as well as at Finishline.com.
