For the NBA’s 50th anniversary in 1996-97, select media members alongside former NBA players and personnel chose the 50 greatest players in league history. No brainer that Michael Jordan took his place among the vast list, which included the legendary likes of Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Julius Erving, and Wilt Chamberlain.
