As you probably saw, Michael Jordan retired 22 years ago today for the first time. Many fans couldn’t believe a prime Jordan would leave behind the odds-on chances for more success. But he did, which cast his 1991, 1992 and 1993 titles with the Bulls as even more mythic than they appeared.

Jordan Brand singled out that era in honor with the upcoming Air Jordan 8 “Three-Peat,” a colorway mix of the three teams MJ’s Bulls beat – Lakers, Trail Blazers, and Suns – to secure their championship rings. Another bonus to this release is the Jordan retro card returning, a fun staple from 2000-2010 retro releases that Jordan Brand has had on hiatus for far too long.

Release day is October 24 so check some of the latest photos below and gear up.
