Jordan Brand has been on a tear in 2015 with oldies and rarites like the Air Jordan 4 Oreo, Air Jordan 5 Pre-Grape, Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard, and next month’s Air Jordan 1 UNC. The 11 Low IE “Referee” can be counted among that group, reprising the look of a 1996 sample that just never made it into production. The nickname comes from the blacked out treatment, not unlike whatever shoes basketball refs wear, but this IE is anything but staid utility. Jordan Brand added some velvety nubuck to the trim package, the applied red to the Jumpman logos, herringbone pods, and carbon fiber plate for some low key pop. And with sometimes nasty fall weather coming up, these will be a nice option to rock style without dealing with a lot of cleanup. Take a closer look at the official angles below for this September 26th drop.
