Jordan Brand closes out August, and by extension summer, with the Air Jordan 6 Low “Chrome.” First released in 2002 as part of the brand’s original low-top 6 run, it’s back 13 years later with the black nubuck and metallic silver touches that have made it a sleeper hit. That wasn’t quite the story initially for the 2002 version. Seems fans weren’t quite sure what to make of the reconfigured AJ6 format. But the black and silver combo caught on, and by 2003’s Air Jordan 8 “Chrome” release the quick sell-through showed that the look had officially been accepted. You can expect these to go quickly when they reappear this Saturday. (Chris Paul has his pair early, of course.) Check the official angles of the Air Jordan 6 Low “Chrome” here and stay tuned for more updates.
