One of the first “Retro+” colorways that Jordan Brand ever produced, Air Jordan 5 in White/Metallic Silver-Black helped set a new course of expanding retro releases into more lifestyle-oriented looks. These were well-received when they first dropped on July 1, 2000, and the colorway has gained so much admiration over the years that Jordan Brand brought it back on April 4, 2015. Quite a big difference in price – $120 then versus $190 now – but the releases are pretty much mirror each other with the white tumbled leather, reflective tongue, silver stitched 23 on the heel and shiny midsole teeth.

The success of this colorway isn’t terribly surprising given that it’s the inverse of the famous original Black/Metallic Silver AJ5. Due to the age and condition, wearable and presentable pairs of the 2000 release are getting tougher to find but the 2015 drop is plentiful depending on your budget. Take a quick look below and cruise through eBay if your interested in picking up a pair. More Daily Jordan on the way tomorrow.
