Following up on this morning’s news of the Air Jordan Legacy Collection releases for spring 2016, we take a look at the “Poster Collection” of Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 12.

Air Jordan 2 “Wing It” harks back to 1986 and the advertisement that help herald the introduction of Michael Jordan‘s anticipated second signature sneaker. For this release, Jordan Brand has plied the Air Jordan 2 with a white, black and dark gray colorway that mimics the ad’s print appearance, while including the ad’s block lettering on the heel tabs and extending the iguana skin print throughout. This also marks the first time since the 1995 Air Jordan 2 retro that the original-style white leather upper without piping along the overlays will be seen at retail.

Air Jordan 12 “The Master” commemorates the shoe’s 20th anniversary, with a play off of the iconic poster of the same name showing a determined Michael Jordan squaring off in the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi.” Here, a black leather upper combines with white and gold hits as an homage to the poster’s detailing.

While specific release details for the Air Jordan “Poster Collection” have not yet been announced, each shoe is expected to hit shelves individually in spring 2016. Find photos for each below and stay tuned for your Air Jordan release information here at Jordans Daily.
