Khalid Ali was just a 15-year-old ballboy finishing his duties for another Lakers home game on December 2, 1984 when he took possession of what would turn out to be one of the most historic pairs of kicks ever – Michael Jordan’s game-worn Nike Air Ship sneakers.

Now Ali has made the modest white and red sneakers available through SCP Auctions, where they’re currently fielding bids through this Saturday. The latest dollar tally is hovering around the $19,000 threshold.
