We’re used to Air Jordans inspired by Michael Jordan‘s time with the Chicago Bulls and University of North Carolina, even by features like his 1996 movie Space Jam. But a colorway based off the outfit he wore while breaking a backboard nearly 30 years ago? New territory.

This black, white and orange Air Jordan 1 is a pretty straightforward representation of that uniform, a black and orange affair Jordan donned taking part in what appears to be a Nike-sanctioned exhibition game circa 1986. The insole even depicts a shattered glass motif.
