The Jordan Eclipse is officially on the market today, and we have the Jordan Brand-issued images and info to go with the unveiling.

Jordan Brand has billed the Eclipse as a “lightweight shoe for hot, sunny days” that’s inspired by the brand’s rich basketball heritage. For instance, the tooling and Jumpman Air heel logo were migrated over from Air Jordan 3. To that, a “deconstructed textile upper [allows] for lightweight breathability,” while a Huarache-style Neoprene fit sleeve and encapsulated Zoom Air unit in the heel cover comfort top to bottom.

The Eclipse follows very successful launches of the similarly styled Jordan Future and Future Low, as Jordan Brand looks to expand its footwear presence in the casual market essentially dominated by the Nike Roshe Run since 2012.

Though the Eclipse has been quietly dispersing at retailers, its official global drop is slated for April 1 to Jordan.com. Get a look at the photos below and let us know your summertime plans for the Jordan Eclipse in the comments.
