Is the Air Jordan XX9 “Riverwalk” a nod to Kawhi Leonard and his NBA Finals MVP Trophy? The pair cleverly makes use of the San Antonio landmark, but according to sources the pair is actually a subtle nod at the 1996 All Star Game in which Michael Jordan laced up that infamous Air Jordan 11 pair (that also is headed to retail shelves this year). The pair features the vibrant teal and pink shades featured on the Spurs court during the 90s that also played into those vibrant and memorable uniforms during that ASG. What do you think? Head to our gallery for more images from Sneaker News of this brand new Air Jordan 29 and look out for this pair to hit retailers on 10/11.
