From the shot over Ehlo to just The Shot, Michael Jordan definitely had the clutch gene. Yesterday we were treated to a play-by-play comparison of Kobe Bryant imitating Michael Jordan’s moves. The resemblance was a little spooky and irrefutable evidence that Michael made a lasting impact on some of the game’s other greatest players. Like Michael, Kobe’s had his fair share of buzzer beaters and game sealing shots, but there’s nothing like the original. Michael Jordan had 23 of them throughout his 15 year career. Is it a coincidence that it coincided with his jersey number (imagine if he had stuck with 45 for the remainder of his career, he might’ve just had to make a few games closer than they needed to be). Hit the click to watch the full montage of Mike’s clutch gene and let us know which shot was your favorite in the comments section.
