The second installment of the Air Jordan 1 x Nike SB collaboration will drop tomorrow, June 7th, 2014. Designed by Lance Mountain, the sneaker features the motto of “Paint Shoes, Not Walls” as both the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” and Air Jordan 1 “Royal” are represented here in mismatched stylings to call back to the unique styles of 80s skateboarders that had a thing for thrifting basketball shoes out of the sales bin and repurposing them. Available in both a white and black look, the paint will wear off with each use. It’s also worth noting that the pairs are flip-flopped so you could potentially have an all Royal set or Bred set if you shelled out the cash for both pairs and wanted to take it a step further and mismatch one white and one black sneaker. What do you think of the latest Air Jordan 1 release? Hit the click for more images and know that each pair will be available at select shops like Concepts.
