Yesterday we received news that that the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG would be returning for 2014, but with a twist: a brand new colorway with some unexpected features would be gracing the first release of the coveted retro silhouette with the Birmingham Barons referencing Air Jordan 1 “Barons”. Nodding to MJ’s switch to being a AA baseball player with dreams of making it to the major leagues, the shoe features a “Shadow” like colorway (representative of both the White Sox and their farm team’s uniform colors) while pinstripes hit the inner lining and the laces get a metallic striped treatment. While the Air Jordan 9 “Barons” is set to arrive at retailers in April, we can only expect a release date to be somewhere near that summer drop as well, so keep your ears to the ground regarding this release and stick with Jordans Daily for all your release date needs.
