The Charlotte Bobcats will officially be retired as the strange navy and orange legacy will enter the history books and the Charlotte Hornets will return in full teal and purple glory for the 2014 NBA Season. Over the weekend, the team unveiled their new logo and among them was the classic secondary of Hugo the Hornet, the team’s longstanding mascot. Among the differences in the newest iteration was the fact that the Hornet laced up a pair of the Air Jordan 11 “Concords” on-feet giving a subtle nod to the squad’s owner and his favorite silhouette. MJ has made no secret of wanting to supply the teams threads directly from Jordan Brand, but with the current adidas licensing exclusive to all teams, MJ will have to settle for his logo lacing up his favorite pair. Hit the gallery for more details and let us know what you think of the new look in the comments.
