Back in 1993, Michael Jordan was on top of the basketball universe. His Chicago Bulls squad had dismissed every hurdle, pushing teams like the feared Bad Boys Pistons to the side and winning three straight championships. His career wasn’t even over yet and MJ was already hailed as the best player to ever lace up a pair of signatures, and then suddenly after disaster hit his family with the death of his father, Michael Jordan left the game of basketball for baseball. Today’s vintage gear is a piece either inspired by the switch to the diamond of pure coincidence as a vintage button up baseball jersey made by Jordan Brand. In a bright yellow look, the jersey features Jordan branding on the front while the sleeves feature an Air Jordan 5-esque ’23’ stitching and the opposite sleeve has the Jumpman logo familiar to the Air Jordan VII. Hit the gallery for a better look at this rare find and pick it up via bc-vintage on eBay today.
