MJ couldn’t even wait to break out the shoe himself, disobeying Tinker’s wishes to save the sneaker for a reveal later in the year so he could lace up the glorious patent leather Air Jordan XI “Concord” for the playoffs. It’s rare enough to find a decent pair of the Air Jordan XI considering they fly off of shelves whenever they see a release, let alone the difficulty of finding pairs from the original 1996 run, but today we get a glimpse of an original 1996 pair issued to MJ in near perfect condition that have yet to be laced up.
