Earlier this summer, Jordan Brand pushed the Air Jordan 1 Mid silhouette with a number of viable options to choose from, whether it was the simple and classic ‘Bred’ colorways that released or the narrative ‘Formidable Foes’ pack that saw the Mid and Lows alike colored in Phoenix Suns and Seattle Supersonics themes. The pack honored MJ’s fallen opponents on his way to becoming the best to ever lace a pair up, and today we see that Western Conference rivals weren’t the only teams considered with this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Orlando Magic” themed Formidable Foes sample. The shoe features a black base while the swoosh is hit with a royal blue and outlined in a thick white border just like the Magic’s alternate jersey lettering.
