While it’s not the most Chicago looking pair, this original Air Jordan XII colorway was indeed the first one for MJ’s twelfth silhouette, releasing back in 1996 with the remaining OG pairs trickling out in 1997. The ‘Taxi’ name comes from that tone that’s the least used on the sneakers, showing up for the carbon fiber plating on bottom.
