Did you manage to secure a pair of the Air Jordan 1 ‘Dave White’ that dropped this year? If so hats off to you, as that pair was probably the most coveted release for MJ’s first silhouette since the ‘Banned’ from last year. Far surpassing both of those in terms of its limited nature and impossible to find status though is this original Dave White x Air Jordan 1 collabo launched via charity auction in February of 2011, with a mere 23 pairs being made. They serve as a preamble to the later retail version, donning a similar graphic styling albeit with some gold down front and an overall lighter base. Check out gallery for detailed images and then check out the auction from depeche23mode for the 1 of 23 Dave White x Air Jordan 1.
