The original silhouette of the Air Jordan 1 has been predictably absent for 2012, having stepped aside to let its padded successor the Air Jordan 1 Phat take the spotlight. The Phat has been handling the newfound fame pretty well, first turning heads with the gooey green outsoles on this J-Lo approved pair. The next style on the way is the varsity red version shown here, which sticks to the varied textural approach-featuring perforated Torch paneling on the back half, smooth leather on the upper, and some elephant print splashed across the side Swoosh. We’ve got some new shots that show off the this Air Jordan 1 Phat with a bit more detail, so click through to check those out. Also, if you’re looking to add this colorway to your rotation then you can cop now from Shelta.
