With some people calling the Air Jordan History of Flight collection the Home Bulls collection, that name would be inaccurate considering the fact that Michael Jordan never took to the NBA hardwood wearing the Air Jordan IX. Instead he opted to swing for the fences wearing the IX while teammate B.J. Armstrong represented for Jordan Brand on the court. The Air Jordan IX ‘History of Flight’ features the same color combination as previously seen on other pairs in the collection. Michael did have an Air Jordan IX made for baseball in an all-black colorway, but these could have easily passed for a Scottsdale Scorpions PE if he went for a more colorful shoe. Take another look at the Air Jordan IX ‘History of Flight’ in the gallery below and head over to the auction from btn_16 on eBay.
