When selecting a shoe, one of the most important factors in buying said shoe is the level of comfort and a curious Air Jordan owner decided to compare the level of cushioning in two of his shoes. The shoes sacrificed for this experiment were the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ and Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoff’. The XIII utilizes Zoom Air cushioning and is only found at the forefoot and heel whereas the XI makes use of a full length Air unit that sits on foam bedding. The type of cushioning used will ultimately affect the wearer’s level of comfort when wearing them casually especially when playing in them.
