With the ninth pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft, the Charlotte Bobcats selected Kemba Walker from the University of Connecticut. The NCAA Champion says that he is very excited to play for Michael Jordan. He was quoted as saying that “I’ve got a lot to learn from him and I’m definitely going to go in with an open mind and try to pick his brain and be the best player that I can be. It’s an amazing feeling.” With Kemba’s will to win and learn the game, he will be a perfect fit in Charlotte as they being to rebuild. Will he ever get his own Jordan PE? Throughout his career at UConn, Walker wore a number of Jordan’s most notably the Jordan 6-17-23 ‘Aqua’ during the Big East Tournament and NCAA Tournament.
