After months of speculating it is now confirmed that the Air Jordan IV will be the next Air Jordan that undergoes the Doernbecher treatment. The Air Jordan IV joins the Air Jordan I, Air Jordan II, Air Jordan III and Air Jordan VI as sneakers that have been a part of the Doernbecher design program. The Doernbecher Freestyle collection gives children, with assistance from designers, the opportunity to express themselves on a sneaker. In previous years, when the Air Jordan that was a part of this program was designed it usually was a sign that it would be a big year for that particular Jordan. With the 23rd anniversary of the Air Jordan IV being in 2012, it looks as if that trend will continue. Check out previous Air Jordan ‘Doernbecher’ shoes after the jump and let us know what you think about the Jordan IV being the next in this series. via TheShoeGame.
