Carmelo Anthony was certainly in a “New York State of Mind” this past week as he celebrated his 27th birthday in New York City with friends and family. Guests who attended the party for the New York Knicks forward included rapper/producer Swizz Beatz and DJ Absolut. The centerpiece of the event was the birthday cake which was modeled after the Melo’s ‘Away’ jersey.
